No matter what you do or where you do it, by joining us you'll be playing a vital role in looking after some of the greatest places in England so that they can be enjoyed today and for generations to come.

The Head of On-Site Visitor Experience is an exciting role within the Historic Properties Department of English Heritage.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who can influence colleagues from all departments and levels of the organisation to put the visitor at the heart of all that we do. You will be creative and innovative - driving the visitor experience strategy for English Heritage properties and utilising your analytical skills and visitor insight to inform new developments and position English Heritage as sector leaders.

You will be an advocate for our brand and values, ensuring these are embedded into the on-site experience and delivering exceptional experiences that leave our visitors feeling enthusiastic, and as a result for English Heritage as a Charity, enhancing brand warmth.

We continually look for new ways to promote the past in a way that is inclusive to all and that celebrates the cultural diversity of England's heritage.

From remote sites to inner city monuments, from regional teams to our Head Office, the diversity of our teams is critical to making sure our shared heritage is inclusive, exciting and accessible.
