Job Description

A luxury skincare and makeup brand is looking for an experienced Head of Operations and Supply Chain to be based in London.


The Head of Operations and Supply Chain will be responsible for leading, motivating and training the Operations and Supply Chain team to ensure sales and growth targets are met. Your main duties will be to:

  • Evaluate, audit and develop systems and processes in order to ensure they are always up to date and as efficient as possible
  • Ensure the business has the inventory to fulfil demand
  • Work with factories in the Far East, Europe, and UK on all PO placement and management.
  • Manage stock levels of finished goods
  • Oversee the wholesale orders to ensure our customers receive their orders correctly and promptly.
  • Manage purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution
  • Drive communications between Operations, New Product Development and Sales teams
  • Analysis of SKU performance and freight costs to gain cost savings.


Your KPIs will include mimising controllable costs, achievement of annual objectives, employee feeedback and success development of internal tools and processes.


The ideal candidate is experienced in Operations, ideally within the beauty sector but other areas such as apparel will be considered. You are required to understand order processes, inventory and dealing with payments. As an effective communicator, you are able to build relationships and lead teams with excellent leadership skills. You must have advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills, be an advanced SAP user and have excellent business knowledge.
