Job Description

  • Developing and executing procurement and supply chain strategies
  • Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure excellent service and quality
  • Creating a team of procurement professionals
  • Driving cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Implementing risk management protocols for the supply chain
  • Coordinating with other departments to forecast demand and ensure supply
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Reporting on procurement and supply chain performance to senior management

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Procurement' should have:

  • A hands on and detailed approach
  • Experience in a leadership role within procurement and supply chain
  • Strong understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

What's on Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £90,000 - £110,000
  • Car allowance of £6,000
  • Bonus of up to 25%
