Job Description
- Developing and executing procurement and supply chain strategies
- Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure excellent service and quality
- Creating a team of procurement professionals
- Driving cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Implementing risk management protocols for the supply chain
- Coordinating with other departments to forecast demand and ensure supply
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Reporting on procurement and supply chain performance to senior management
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Procurement' should have:
- A hands on and detailed approach
- Experience in a leadership role within procurement and supply chain
- Strong understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
What's on Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £90,000 - £110,000
- Car allowance of £6,000
- Bonus of up to 25%
- Life assurance (4x salary)
