Head of Sales

Unique London Venue

50-55k plus commission

My client is looking for an exceptional Head of Sales who has proven track record of contributing and delivering sales strategies for multi-use venues.. As the first dedicated sales role in the business, you will have the opportunity to develop strategy, build a team, and help them to become a leading venue.

You will be driving the private hire side of the business, using your extensive contacts, this will include launching a brand new space and also launching and managing a social entertaining space. The client is looking ideally for someone who has experience in both and who can confidently sit as part of the Senior Management Team.

My client needs someone super proactive who is good and going the extra mile to win the business a real keen networker.

·Creating a sales strategy for existing spaces and helping to steer decisions around there expansion and how best to create new spaces that will drive future growth.

·Creating packages and assets for groups and private hires, working closely with the Events and Marketing teams

·Proactively seeking new opportunities and partnerships

·Converting incoming enquiries for private hires in collaboration with the Events team

·Collaborating in researching, planning and attending relevant showcases, trips and other industry events.

·Providing exceptional experiences for site visits with potential clients.

·Keeping updated of trends within the sector; making sure the group and private hire offer is relevant and desirable for changing consumer needs and wants.

·Maintaining the contact database and account management and relationships with present and potential guests and clients.

·Supporting processes and procedures for use internally and externally to ensure that planning and communication between all parties is smooth and effective.

·Ensuring accurate and prompt financial reporting for your areas of responsibility, including weekly status and financial reporting on upcoming events.

·Building the sales team to meet future potential and targets

Standard office days are Monday to Friday, with one day per week permitted to work from home

It may be required to work on some evenings and weekends to meet your areas of responsibility, and we recognise that this flexibility may be required both ways.
