Job Description

My client have been aleading gym equipment manufacturer, recognized and trusted worldwidefor over 30 years. The Role:

As the Head of Sales, youwill oversee the sales team to meet revenue targets, enhance salesprocesses, boost productivity, and drive scalability. You'll use datafor strategic decisions and accelerate the sales organization'sgrowth. Additionally, you'll guide the team in setting and executingplans to meet overall objectives.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Oversee all fitnessequipment sales channels, including Shopify, direct, and trade.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics, ensuringteam alignment and role clarity in achieving objectives.
  • Ensure the Sales Team receives adequate support from theMarketing team, coordinating with the Head of Marketing for effectivestrategy alignment.
  • Conduct regular training for the SalesTeam, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, andpersonal/professional development.
  • Set and regularly reviewteam targets, ensuring they are met.
  • Ensure the team has thenecessary capacity and experience to achieve goals.
  • Regularlyreview the Sales Team’s KPIs to align with business objectives andreport to the Managing Director as needed.
  • Provide reports tothe Managing Director as required.
  • Document and regularlyreview all departmental processes and procedures.
  • Participatein product development, pricing strategies, and stay updated onindustry trends.
  • Undertake any other tasks relevant to theposition as requested by the Company Directors.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ Senior Sales experience in the fitness industry
  • Work from their Norfolk HQ 3 days per week
  • Strongsales and negotiation abilities
  • Solid business acumen withrelevant role and industry experience
  • Proven ability tomotivate and lead a team
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Abilityto remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in IT, budgeting,and report writing
