The Role:

As the Head of Sales, you will oversee the sales team to meet revenue targets, enhance sales processes, boost productivity, and drive scalability. You'll use data for strategic decisions and accelerate the sales organization's growth. Additionally, you'll guide the team in setting and executing plans to meet overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all fitness equipment sales channels, including Shopify, direct, and trade.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics, ensuring team alignment and role clarity in achieving objectives.
  • Ensure the Sales Team receives adequate support from the Marketing team, coordinating with the Head of Marketing for effective strategy alignment.
  • Conduct regular training for the Sales Team, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and personal/professional development.
  • Set and regularly review team targets, ensuring they are met.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary capacity and experience to achieve goals.
  • Regularly review the Sales Team’s KPIs to align with business objectives and report to the Managing Director as needed.
  • Provide reports to the Managing Director as required.
  • Document and regularly review all departmental processes and procedures.
  • Participate in product development, pricing strategies, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Undertake any other tasks relevant to the position as requested by the Company Directors.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ Senior Sales experience in the fitness industry
  • Work from their Norfolk HQ 3 days per week
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Solid business acumen with relevant role and industry experience
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in IT, budgeting, and report writing
