Our thriving and collegiate Trust is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Head of School Improvement to lead this vital area of our work and enable us to further fulfil our mission statement.
Salary: L18 - L24, £67,351 - £78,010 with up to £8,000 relocation allowance
This exciting new opportunity represents part of our further evolution as a Trust currently consisting of nine primary and two secondary schools. The successful post holder will move into a ‘space’ previously led by the CEO, working initially with highly experienced contracted School Improvement Consultants, and established and evolving systems and processes, but with the opportunity to move all aspects of this work forwards strategically, develop both an internal team model, as well as further out-sourcing; all to further our aims for young people and of course staff.
The role will work closely with school-based curriculum and improvement models, become part of the Trust Strategic Leadership Team and also the Central Leadership Team; you will be able to report directly to the CEO and Trust Board.
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Work collaboratively with the CEO and other partners to build upon the existing foundation of quality education and drive sustained improvement across our schools, both at strategic level as well as ensuring consistency and impact at school level
- Establish and develop high-performing teams to impact on all aspects of school improvement
- Facilitate school-based improvement, ensuring full statutory compliance and best practice to build on our current strengths and ensure that every learner can be happy, successful and thrive
- Demonstrate a track record of outstanding teaching and learning, utilising current educational research to apply best practice
- Build positive and collegiate relationships with our staffing and leadership teams to nurture and progress talent, supporting and challenging when appropriate to enable success
- Developing Trust-wide strategies, systems and processes with strategic oversight, but be able to oversee, interact and problem-solve with absolute operational detail
- Demonstrate strategic vision alongside practical impact to ensure our provision evolves and is fit for purpose to cater for all our students regardless of need or background
