Head of SEO
Jewellery Quarter Bullion is on the lookout for an experienced, technically minded, data-driven, and highly strategic Head of SEO who wants to drive impact, lead positive change, and implement new ideas to turbocharge the growth of our markets in the UK and Internationally. Joining Jewellery Quarter Bullion you will become part of an exciting, entrepreneurial business which over the last 12 years has grown BullionByPost.co.uk to become the UK’s no.1 online gold and silver bullion dealer, turning over in excess of £320m a year. We also operate Gold.co.uk and have recently created a rapidly growing presence of fully translated and localised bullion websites across the EU and the United States. We also run The Fine Jewellery Company and The Jewellers, online jewellery platforms who offer one of the widest ranges of gifting jewellery in the UK.
What your duties will include:
Create, develop, and execute a detailed SEO roadmap and drive execution across multiple UK and international bullion and jewellery brands.
Full responsibility for anything SEO related within Jewellery Quarter Bullion Ltd.
Conduct technical audits to help identify issues impacting site performance and providing and executing strategic improvements.
Own key technical indicators such as crawling and indexing performance, site speed, error rates, bounce rates etc.
Undertake in-depth keyword analysis and keyword analysis to help inform decisions on keyword targets.
Turn raw data into valuable insights through analysing performance metrics and data.
Create your own monthly KPI reports to track progression.
Maintain SEO best practice and stay up to date with new developments and tactics in the industry.
Take an innovative approach to SEO, sharing your prior knowledge, experience, new approaches and enthusiasm with the wider Marketing Team.
Leverage internal translation talent and work with country managers to accelerate SEO growth internationally.
What we look for in you:

Strong technical SEO understanding.

A passion for the digital sector, e-commerce, and SEO.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior SEO role.
In depth experience using tools including Web analytics platforms, Tag Manager, Webmaster Tools, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog etc.
Strong commercial awareness - comfortable using data to demonstrate ROI.
Understanding of JavaScript, HTML & CSS
Magento SEO experience is a plus.
