Head of UK Safety / Process Safety Eleven have partnered with a fantastic chemical business to recruit a new Head of UK Safety for their site in Hampshire. I am looking to speak with Senior Process Safety specialists who are looking for a new and exciting challenge Main Duties Liaise with regulators to ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety, and Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations. Permit to work system Security & Access Control Emergency response plans Incident Reporting system Provide Process Safety expertise for incident investigation, process hazard analyses, Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSRs), management of change, and engineering project activities Maintain an active and visible safety/process safety program Conduct and facilitate safety meetings and training. Ensure that Process Safety risks are as Low As Reasonably Practical (ALARP). Ensure that UK employees, visitors, and contract workers are not exposed to Health, Safety, and Security risks. Ensure the site complies with applicable UK legislative requirements, corporate policy, and industry standards. Lead the management and continuous improvement of plant safety, and process safety activities. What I would like to see Degree in Chemical Engineering, or a Process Safety related course Minimum 5 years experience with Process Safety/COMAH in a chemical environment Working knowledge of UK Safety and Process Safety requirements Be a TEAM player
