Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and company objectives
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures, RIDDOR etc
Provide guidance and training to employees on health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and compliance requirements
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive actions to minimise recurrence
Be up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve Health and Safety initiativesWhat's needed

Health and Safety related qualifications - NEBOSH or equivalent
Proven experience in a Health and Safety role within the FMCG food industry
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence team members at all levelsWhat do you get in return
