Health And Safety Advisor Job In London

Shirley Parsons are delighted to represent a fantastic charity and support them to appoint their Health and Safety Officer. This is a part time position, working 3 days a week. Friday is mandatory day and the other two are flexible. You will be required to travel at least once a month to visit sites. This position covers their Property and Logistics division.

The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for:

Working with volunteer groups that provide transport services to their members and/or own property.

You’ll also be supporting members of the Customer Services team to help them fulfil their health and safety responsibilities within each of the offices.

This role includes travel across the UK to provide support and/ or training as required.

You’ll be working with external auditors to manage the audit process, monitor and record compliance with the Health and Safety risk management framework’ on property and transport

The Health and Safety Officer will have:

An in-depth up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices

Experience of transport for people of all abilities run, with a working knowledge of the related legislation.

A working knowledge of DSE requirements and how to assess and apply them in a practical way.

Knowledge of risk assessment, inspection and auditing procedures.
