Health & Safety Advisor - Birmingham
Salary £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
- 36.5-hour week - Daily hours of 7.5 Monday to Thursday and 6.5 Friday.
- Flexible start / Finish times.

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members and clients across the UK as well as advising Clients and Contractors in CDM2015 regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of experts to write CDM documentation and procedures.
- Providing expert advice on CDM2015 regulations.
- Conduct nationwide site inspections and audits to uphold H&S compliance standards.
- Engage directly with contractors and site management to provide support, education, and guidance.
- Assist senior members in fulfilling the role of CDM Advisor/Principal Designer for a prominent hotel and hospitality provider in the UK.
- Preparation of pre-construction information.
- Reviewing construction plans
- Conducting risk assessments, and method statements.
- H&S Project set up.
- Providing essential administrative support.
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring visits to ensure Health & Safety compliance.
- Ensuring projects are completed efficiently within budgetary constraints.
- Providing support to senior staff on H&S related issues
Key Requirements
- A health and safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate is advantageous but not essential.
- A comprehensive knowledge of CDM2015 regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Background or experience in the construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive, professional, and personable demeanour.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as travel to sites across the UK will be required.
