About the Role:
We are growing our Health and Safety team and looking for an experienced Health and Safety Management professional to work directly with a well-known global E-commerce client. The successful candidate will lead and maintain the health and safety management system and act as the primary point of contact for the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities involve:
- Maintaining the health and safety management system and acting as the primary point of contact for the UK and Ireland.
- Demonstrating a driven, proactive, customer-centric, and solutions approach.
- Providing competent responses to client queries and managing ad hoc support questions.
- Preparing and delivering essential EHS information to stakeholders.
- Supporting the creation of EHS standards, signage package, user guides, training, local and regional processes.
What are we looking for?
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in reviewing and creating Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Confidence in presenting information in person and via video/audio conferencing.
- Confidence in liaising with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Driven, proactive, and ownership.
- Multi-tasking and collaborative team player.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 health and safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Working towards Level 6 health and safety qualification, such as the National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics.
