Job Title:

Health and Safety Advisor (UK & Ireland)

Location:

Hybrid Working 3 days per week at client site (Central London)

Salary:

Up to: £52k per annum (DOE) + enhanced maternity/ paternity and sick pay+ further fantastic benefits package

Type:

Permanent

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor/Consultant with knowledge of UK and Ireland regulations? Do you have excellent stakeholder management skills and are ready to step into a Senior Consultant embedded role with a global client? If 'Yes', we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

We are growing our Health and Safety team and looking for an experienced Health and Safety Management professional to work directly with a well-known global E-commerce client. The successful candidate will lead and maintain the health and safety management system and act as the primary point of contact for the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities involve:

  1. Maintaining the health and safety management system and acting as the primary point of contact for the UK and Ireland.

  2. Demonstrating a driven, proactive, customer-centric, and solutions approach.

  3. Providing competent responses to client queries and managing ad hoc support questions.

  4. Preparing and delivering essential EHS information to stakeholders.

  5. Supporting the creation of EHS standards, signage package, user guides, training, local and regional processes.

What are we looking for?

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in reviewing and creating Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Confidence in presenting information in person and via video/audio conferencing.
  • Confidence in liaising with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Driven, proactive, and ownership.
  • Multi-tasking and collaborative team player.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 health and safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Working towards Level 6 health and safety qualification, such as the National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics.
