Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join us part-time and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and enforcing our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Policies, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and promote our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents.
- Review and update policies according to legislation.
- Organize and conduct OHS training for employees.
- Maintain safety training records through internal auditing.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
- IOSH certificate.
- Previous experience in a health and safety role.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.
- Proven experience in a high-risk sector.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
