Salary£45k per annum, 39 hours per weekWe are seeking a Health and Safety Officer following the successful franchising bid.Principal Accountabilities:* Reporting to the Engineering Director and the Health and Safety Manager, this role is responsible for being the subject matter on continuously improving the safety within the Manchester depots.* Carry out audits in line with Group Schedules/Targets* Ensure that the depot management have a clear understanding and consistency of policies and procedures set by the Group H&S team.* Assist depot management in line with the objectives of achieving ISO450001 by 2025 and delivery of the 5 year safety plan.To apply for this role you ideally you should:* be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with the ability to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives.* Driving licence and willing to travel* NEBOSH General Certificate (as a minimum)* Knowledge and understanding of relevant UK safety legislation* Experience of auditing* Well organised* Excellent at planning, organising and problem solvingIf you think that you have what we are looking for then submit your applicationStagecoach workplace culture is one where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences our people bring to the business are celebrated.
