BetterOasis is a provider of residential and supported living accommodation services for children aged 16 and above in England. This is a full-time on-site role as a Health and Social Care Worker at BetterOasis located in Norwich. As a Health and Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to young people in our care. Your day-to-day tasks may include assisting with personal care, facilitating social activities, promoting emotional well-being, and encouraging independent living skills.
- Experience in working with children or young people
- Knowledge of health and social care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic understanding of safeguarding principles
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and social care are desirable
