We're seeking an HSE Site Advisor to champion the safety-first agenda at our Wolverhampton site. As the HSE representative, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a secure and compliant environment.


This will be joining a brand new centre of manufacturing excellence, industry 4.0 standards & HSE is paramount to be set at the same levels.


About the Role:

As the HSE Site Advisor, you will be responsible for driving EHSS safety initiatives on-site. Collaborating closely with the wider management team, you'll conduct routine checks, maintain stringent auditory controls, and ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular Critical 15 site audits, collating action points for improvement.
  • Manage and mitigate risks, serving as the recognized site governance figure.
  • Work with Preferred Suppliers List (PSL) for external contractor audits.
  • Maintain positive relationships with external service providers.
  • Conduct service review meetings and spot-check RAMS regularly.
  • Facilitate and document monthly committee meetings with the site committee.
  • Ensure thorough incident investigations to an approved standard.
  • Log all EHSS activities on OPUS.
  • Drive site continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure legal operating compliance of the site.
  • Complete monthly site ESG data and implement safety training programs.
  • Review and amend induction materials for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly assess processes and procedures to identify potential risks.
  • Cascade policy changes to Site Managers and peers.
  • Manage the site evacuation procedure effectively.


What You'll Bring:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate and TechIOSH.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing a small team.
