Job Title: HSE Coordinator – BESS Project
Location: Scotland
Type: Contract (1 year)
Our client is a global leader in the energy sector and are looking for a HSE Coordinator to join them in Scotland on a BESS project. The ideal candidate will have a proven history in HSE, knowledge of CDM regulations, and be able to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project-specific requirements.
- Review and approve H&S Plans
- Oversee the integration of contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure H&S inductions are conducted for all site visitors
- Implement LMRA and Toolbox Talks systems
- Record and manage incidents
What is needed from you:
- 4+ years’ experience in similar construction projects
- Track record in managing health and safety in construction environments
- Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
- Driving licence and your own car
- Relevant qualifications -NEBOSH, IOSH, Temporary Works Management, First Aid etc.
Logistics:
- Start date September 2024
- This is an onsite position
- Outside IR35
- Rate negotiable depending on experience
