Role Overview

Over the last six years, PNE has established a portfolio of highly regarded events which attract thousands of senior leaders from across education, healthcare, and the wider public sector in the UK and USA. As we continue to scale the business, we are looking for ambitious professionals who want to grow with us. We are now seeking a driven and commercially astute leader to take ownership of our multi million pound healthcare portfolio. Building on the success of our HPN brand, this person will have strategic and operational responsibility for our healthcare offering from concept right through to delivery.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Relationship development and management with key stakeholders including leading individuals, organisations and associations – initially across UK and US healthcare markets, but with the remit to assess opportunities on a global scale
  • In-depth market research and analysis to inform the strategic expansion of the healthcare portfolio, as well as the development of commercially viable conference programmes and other content
  • Conference programme development, management and delivery across the healthcare portfolio, including our flagship HPN events in both the UK and USA as well as our primary care offering and other new products
  • Speaker acquisition, management and ongoing relationship development to deliver maximum value for all parties
  • Copywriting of marketing and promotional materials where required
  • Working closely with sales, marketing and operations functions to ensure maximum commercial performance of products

Success Factors

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial conference production or equivalent within the healthcare sector
  • Demonstrable experience of research (academic or industry)
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and articulate, with a good eye for detail
  • Ambitious with a keen desire to learn and progress
  • At ease working with high profile individuals
