Healthcare Associate (NQ to 5 years PQE) - Edinburgh/Glasgow
Hunter Savage is currently partnering with this leading global law firm to recruit a healthcare associate into their leading global healthcare team and to be based in either their Edinburgh and Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to join this leading healthcare team as an associate and work with their leading client base which includes hospitals, insurers, regulators, pharma companies and life sciences organisations. This role would suit an experienced solicitor NQ to 5 years PQE.
The Client
Our client is a leading global legal firm who's healthcare team, ranked Band 1 in Legal 500. They act for indemnifiers and insurers as well as directly for healthcare professionals, local authorities and charities. The team has been growing rapidly and would be well known as a leading team in Scotland. They are now keen to grow the firm further and recruit a Healthcare Associate to based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. They are also a very modern firm who invest heavily in legal technology and knowledge management and have a supportive and flexible approach to the workplace.
The Role
Working as a healthcare associate within this leading team the role will entail managing a mixed caseload of healthcare disputes and will also advise clients around healthcare regulation, dispute resolution and arbitration.
The Person
Ideally you will meet the following criteria;
- Qualified Solicitor - Ideally NQ to 5 years PQE
- Previous experience of personal injury litigation either on the defence or plaintiff side
- Keen to learn and with a passion for complex legal matters and expanding your knowledge
- Highly determined with the ability to adapt well within a demanding, fast paced team
- Confident and effective communicator
- focussed on delivering a highly professional service to clients, including compliance with client SLA's and MI requirements
