Job Description:

The Security Training Officer delivers necessary training to our Security teams including Security Officers, Security Managers, Security Operations Managers, and other colleagues across Heathrow Airport in accordance with CAA regulation as well as Heathrow business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Being flexible in approach and open to learning new ways of working to maximise efficient delivery of training.
• Supporting the Operation as the business requires and assist in emergency situations.
• Providing 1:1 coaching as required, recording all aspects of coaching, including results when checked for understanding.
• Delivering specific CT training alongside a range of classroom and on the job training interventions for all security employees.
• Maintaining training records in line with legislative and business requirements.
• Assessing both theoretical and practical competence of all delegates against relevant standards.
• Working flexibly across the operation to ensure training is completed in all areas.

Job Requirements:

• Able to manage sensitive data and work in a confidential environment.
• Level 3 Award in Educational Training or equivalent.
• Engaging presentation and facilitation skills.
• Qualification in Recognition of Firearms and Explosives and Aviation Security Management ASM Level 3.
• Experience and understanding of UK or EC transport security regulations.
• Ability to assess competence and provide evidential feedback in both verbal and written formats.
