Job Description
British Gas are seeking an experienced Heating Installation Labourer in Glasgow on a sub-contracting basis.
Dive into a hands-on role bricking in, plastering around flues & air vents, and ensuring pristine finishes. Utilise your plumbing skills in kitchen unit removal for pipe access, adeptly run both copper and plastic piping, and reinforce the solidity of walls surrounding radiators.
In this role you will also be the indispensable support for our lead installer, helping with site cleanliness, furniture manoeuvring - heavy lifting included.
Tackle tasks at heights and showcase your general building prowess. This is a unique position for an individual looking to expand their portfolio. You will be joining a team of highly skilled engineers completing work within private domestic properties and always delivering first class customer service.
- £16.27 per hour
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- 3-6 months guaranteed work with potential to extend

- National access to our helpdesk of experienced engineers to enable first-fix where possible
The ideal candidates will possess NVQ Level 2 plumbing or equivalent, ACS, and mandatory JIB-PMES CSCS card.
- Must hold a valid in date driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must provide own power tools
- Must own and use a roadworthy van with bulkhead
- Must be confident and have good communication skills
