Heavy Plant Engineer Job In Oldham

They are now on the lookout for a Heavy Plant Fitter to expand their skilled workforce, ensuring the continued maintenance and optimal performance of cutting-edge machinery, and meet the growing demands of our customers!

Heavy Plant Fitter's Responsibilities

• 50% Workshop based, 50% Field based
• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant machinery (Crawler Cranes, Excavators).
• Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Basic maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and minor repairs.
• Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Report any critical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist in making necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment components, including hydraulic systems and engines.
  
  

Heavy Plant Fitter's Skills

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Demonstrable experience in similar role.
• Must be comfortable staying away (few days)
• Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
