HGV Class 1 Driver Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Monday: Start times between 04.00AM - 07.00AM Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18.35 PER HOUR What's in it for me? Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay On-site Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Programme Day to Day Duties RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side) Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills Hold a valid UK Category C+E Licence Have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a C+E vehicles No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi-drop experience will be beneficial What training is provided?
