Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging and effective History lessons to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their unique needs
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate with parents and guardians as needed
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
- Proven experience teaching History in a primary/secondary school setting
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and best teaching practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
