As a Disability Assessor, You will start on £35,000with performance related increasesto £36,000 once youre comfortable in the rolewith a further£1000increase to£37,000after 12 months of employment! You can also then earn an additionalBi-Annual 10% incentive bonus! Thats £40,700 in just one year!
Not looking for full time, dont worry! You can just choose the weekdays that you want to work! We just ask that you are able to commit to a 6 weeks full time training period, from home. The options for part time are;
30 hours - £28,000.00 with performance related increases to £29,600
22.5 hours - £21,000.00 with performance related increases to £22,200
So what does a role of a Disability Assessor, actually look like?
From your first day, you will be set up with the technical equipment and devices needed to complete your role!
You will be given lots of training and support including 6 weeks of full-time training, which is fully paid and all based at home!
Once trained, that support continues, and your role will look something like this
You will be completing x 3 Claimant assessments per day, for individuals, with a variety of long-term health conditions
You will meet claimants remotely, taking a person-centred approach with each report, that you write up.
Using your clinical knowledge and experience, you will gather as much information to benefit the claimant experience, but you wont make any decisions or advice on their treatment or medication.
You will need to complete a typed up report around the individuals that you meet.
Experience required
You should have knowledge of a variety of health conditions
Be a registered Nurse, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist, with 12 months post qualification experience, in an Adult practice role
You must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft applications - predominately Microsoft Word
12 months on the register is a must!As a Nurse, you should be registered under RGN, RMN OR RNLD and for the HCPC clinicians, we only accept Occupational Therapist, Paramedics and Physiotherapist.
