Home Care Coordinator
\nLocation: Chichester
\nSalary: £27,000– £28,500 + quarterly bonuses OTE £30,000
\nMonday – Friday We can offer this role as Part Time or Full Time 20 - 40 Hours per week.
\n**** In your role, you will be rostering 1-hour care calls and supplying our amazing team with proper travel time. You will also play an important part in supporting with new projects****

As a Care Coordinator for Right at Home Chichester & Bognor Regis, you will play an integral part in managing the daily communications and care scheduling of our team and clients. You must be extremely personable as you will be working with the entire team to make sure all our valued Clients needs are met.
\nMain duties and responsibilities:

  • To be accountable to the Registered Manager for the smooth running of day-to-day Client/ Care Assistant communication
  • \n
  • Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of CQC Outstanding.
  • \n
  • To ensure the scheduling is carried out efficiently enabling the Care
  • \n
\n

Assistants to spend the allocated care time with each Client and to allow for travel time

\n
    \n
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures and approved practice; and to promote the aims of the business. Including being up to date with your own training and CPD records
  • \n
  • To answer the telephone promptly and professionally, dealing with any enquiries or queries
  • \n
  • Ensure enquiries are recorded promptly and accurately with sufficient details
  • \n
  • Ensure any changes to Client or CareGiver needs and availability, is communicated to all relevant parties quickly and effectively. Ensure all changes are recorded in the appropriate places.
  • \n
  • Ensure complaints and Care Assistant feedback and enquiries are logged promptly and accurately using the correct procedure.
  • \n
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home
  • \n
  • Work closely with management to highlight recruitment needs to allow for consistent, safe delivery of care
  • \n
  • Effectively manage CareGivers expectations by maintaining clear lines of communication at all times and building a strong and positive working relationship.
  • \n
  • To identify and match the most suitable CareGivers for each package
  • \n
  • To produce consistent, fortnightly rosters and provide CareGivers and
  • \n
\n

Clients with rotas in a timely manner

\n

  • Accurately monitor and record Care Assistant holiday, sickness and absences.
  • \n
\n

Essential Experience

\n
    \n
  • Use of a scheduling recording system – Desirable
  • \n
  • Previous Domiciliary Care experience – Desirable
  • \n
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
  • \n
  • Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads
  • \n
  • Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle.
