HOME FURNISHINGS - JUNIOR BUYER  (GLOBAL RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY BUSINESS )  BASED IN ALTRINCHAM - CHESHIRE £30K Our client is a fast growing forward thinking British Property Developer and urban regeneration specialist. With decades of experience and an immaculate record of industry success, they operate across the country, focusing their efforts on developing residential property in areas of especially high demand. The are now looking to recruit an experienced Junior/ Buyer to work for their global residential property business.        THE ROLE  1.   Project support Assist in developing residential projects/ selecting product, room plans and models under the guidance of the senior team Support in the development of conceptual designs and presentations Participate in design meetings offering input and product solutions Ensure design compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and environmental considerations 2. Procurement Procure and work closely with company suppliers to source materials, finish fixtures and other construction related projects Research suppliers and vendors to identify cost effective sustainable and high quality materials Prepare buying schedules RFQ's (Request for quotation) and purchase orders Liaise with vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials  Support in negotiation contracts, pricing and delivery terms in line with the project budget 3. Operations and project co-ordination Co-ordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of design and construction process Monitor and assist in resolving design and company challenges Support the project management team in maintaining project timelines ensuring milestones are met Document and track project changes, schedule and procurement related expenses 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams, including Project Managers, the company CEO and consultants to deliver cohesive projects Communicate with external stakeholders such as contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate project approvals and smooth execution Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders, outlining project updates, procurement status and design modifications 5. Documentation and reporting  Maintain accurate and up to date records of procurement supplier communications and project progress Assist in preparing reports budget and procurement summaries for internal views and managment meetings Ensure proper documentation of design revisions, material selection and project approvals  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelors degree or related field 1-3 years experience in design/ buying/ in property preferable  with expose to procurement and operations  Strong communication skills and organizational skills  Able to manage multiple tasks , meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team    BASED IN HALE - CHESHIRE  £30K
