De Vere Wokefield Estate has been completely transformed following a £20 million restoration throughout. From the high-tech dedicated conference building to thethe historic Mansion House which has had a complete makeover and now offers 87 guestrooms, including 12 luxury suites, along with the restoration of a number of event spaces including the pillared Terrace Suite. The estate also homes a BMW Training academy which is staffed and managed by the Hotel team.
Sitting just south-west of London, the hotel is located near Reading and is just 10 minutes from J11 of the M4 and 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport.
Are you looking for your next senior hospitality role?
As the Hotel Manager at De Vere Wokefield Estate you willplay an instrumental part in the repositioning of the property, working alongside our Venue Director to drive the culture and lead the change from the front, in order to maximise on the property's extensive capital investment.
The Hotel Manager has a number of Direct Head of Department reports and the role involves overseeing the Hotel, events operation and team to ensure that all guest expectations are met, through the delivery of consistently high standards of service.
About you:
- You will have recent experience in a similar role either as a Hotel Manager, Director of Operations or Deputy General Manager. Experience within a similarly large Hotel is desirable, although not essential.
- You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team and excellent communication skills.
- We are looking for someone to display a service orientated approach, a passion for high standards and the ability to drive the property and team from strength to strength.
- A strong commercial background and excellent knowledge of competitor set in order to develop the business further is key to being successful in this role.
