Job Description

Frazer Jones is delighted to work with a fast-paced, high-growth business to recruit a HR Administrator. This is a newly created role due to growth in an organisation that offers a great working culture and a very flexible hybrid working model of 1 day per week on site near Shaftesbury on the Dorset Wiltshire border.

This is a great opportunity for someone with HR administration experience to join a great HR team and further develop operational HR experience. My client is looking for a forward-thinking, confident and proactive HR Administrator that will enjoy working within a collaborative and supportive role. As HR Administrator, you will report into the HR Manager and will act as the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance, as well as providing all day-to-day transactional support around the employee life cycle.

Main duties will include:

  1. Being the first point of contact for all HR enquiries, advice and guidance, offering first-line support.
  2. Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation and induction arrangements have been completed.
  3. Maintaining the HR system; data entry including accurate and timely entry of new employee information and employee HR data changes, ensuring accurate HR administrative processes and procedures are followed.
  4. Taking responsibility for HR administrative processes including sickness absence records, maternity/paternity records, and monitoring probation periods.
  5. Supporting HR projects to enhance processes and improve the employee experience.
  6. Documenting and following HR transactional processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  7. Supporting with recruitment administration, including liaising with hiring managers and managing the online recruitment portal.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working within an HR Administration role ideally within a busy, fast-paced HR department. You can demonstrate excellent administrative skills along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You understand the importance of working with confidential information and providing up-to-date and accurate reports as and when required.

You have excellent communication skills, along with being highly organised and proactive in your approach. You will be a self-starter who can use your own initiative to complete tasks and support the wider HR team and business.
