Job Description

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are hiring a People Administrator. As a People Administrator, you will support and report to the Head of People in a full scope of HR tasks to support across the business. This includes, but is not limited to; supporting development processes, recruitment, absence management, HR projects, training, HR compliance, supporting payroll & personnel administration processes.

The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be confident in taking on any type of HR task.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the recruitment lifecycle; including advertising vacancies, reviewing CVs, telephone screening, liaising with recruitment agencies, and arranging interviews.
  • Supporting the new-hire and on-boarding process; issuing and collecting all necessary documentation and arranging induction processes.
  • Completing pre-employment screens including right to work checks and referencing.
  • Managing the off-boarding process.
  • Maintaining and updating internal HRIS (PeopleHR).
  • Supporting the absence management process.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are updated in line with employment legislation.
  • Supporting with talent development, employee engagement initiatives and any other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good standard of Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet all deadlines with a consistent high standard of work.
  • Understanding of the critical importance of confidentiality and ability to maintain this at all times.
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc tasks.

Working pattern:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 6pm
  • The successful candidate will initially be office based, with an opportunity to move to hybrid working once successfully embedded within the company.

HR experience is desirable, but if you are a graduate with a Human Resources Degree, looking to develop a career in HR, this role is for you!
