An internationally-renowned, London-based environmental impact organisation are looking for a HR Administrator to join their growing team! ????

Reporting directly to the Senior People Partner, this role will be a crucial role in driving efficiency within the People function. ???? Our client operates on a 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday), but you will be required to go in to their London office twice a week.


About the role...


  • Owning employee onboarding and offboarding - facilitate the full onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, obtaining references, ans conducting exit interviews.
  • Payroll and benefits administration - assist with payroll processing and addressing payroll-related enquiries alongside support of the People and Finance teams. Own benefits administration processes by liaising with external stakeholders, coordinating enrolment, and providing support to employees regarding benefits enquiries.
  • Recruitment Administration - Assist in coordinating recruitment activities.
  • People data maintenance - provide an efficient administration service to the People & Culture team and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data other People-related documents.
  • Champion company policies and best practices - stay up-to-date on changes to labour laws and ensure company policies and practices are in alignment with legal requirements, championing these in interactions across the business.
  • People reporting - generate People reports as needed, including headcount reports, turnover analysis, and other People metrics.
  • People projects - work collaboratively with the Senior People Partner on various ad hoc projects, build People systems and processes to help increase efficiency and impact of People projects, and be a culture carrier by identifying and executing on initiatives to help build a happy and purposeful team.


You will be a good fit if you have:


  • At least 12 months experience in HR administration or related role (e.g a Recruitment Consultant).
  • A strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work at pace and attention to detail.
  • Are proactive and constantly thinking ahead.
  • Strong relationship building skills, the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders both inside and outside of the organisation.
  • Excellent communicator and agile and resilient in approach.
  • Creative and purposeful thinker with a strong motivation to find solutions and have an impact.
