About us…

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful service delivery organisation as an HR Administrator, based in Winnersh, Berkshire. HPE Customer Delivery Services (CDS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise whilst operating as a separate legal entity.

The role is a key member of the HR team for UK&I reporting directly to the Head of HR and supporting the HR Business Partners for CDS. We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator who has a flexible, determined, pragmatic and energetic approach. Strong organisational and time management skills along with an excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills are key requirements together with the ability to manage a variety of HR challenges.

Responsibilities to include

  • Maintaining the HR database (Workday) and administering transactions through various systems
  • Liaising with the Payroll Team and other internal departments in line with HR procedures
  • General administration including supporting the wider HR team
  • Administering and liaising with the benefits provider for any benefits related queries
  • Assisting with onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork completion and orientation
  • Producing and administering employee correspondence
  • Processing administration of leavers
  • Producing standard and ad hoc reports
  • Meeting coordination and facilitation
  • First point of contact on general HR enquiries from employees and managers
  • Point of contact for all ongoing queries and activities with external providers
  • Assisting with reviewing and sending wider company communications

Essential Skills

  • Must have proven experience in HR administration, approximately 2+ years in a similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organised and able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Practical and flexible
  • Willing to contribute to team discussions and take ideas forward
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in data entry and record keeping on HR systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with profession
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and functions

Desirable Skills

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Experience using Workday
  • Proficient working knowledge of SharePoint

The role will be full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday and is entitled to the company flexible benefits package which includes private medical insurance, pension scheme and health cash plan, buying and selling additional holidays and free parking. Must be available to be in the Winnersh office at least one day a week. Flexible working and career progression will be considered for the right candidate.
