Your new role
As the team's newest HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an efficient and seamless HR service across the site, gaining experience in all the key areas of HR. You will support the HR Manager in the application of HR policies and processes, especially when supporting disciplinary and grievance cases. You will be involved in conducting and implementing engagement surveys and performance reviews, as well as the coordination of the site engagement and wellbeing agenda. You will support managers in all recruitment activities, as well as the new-starter, onboarding and full life-cycle experience, and provide reports on HR metric data, with the opportunity to get involved in the design and delivery of subsequent projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience of working within a HR function in a similar environment, with experience working on attendance / employee management systems. You will have fantastic written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence at line manager and senior management level. As well as great attention to detail and strong organisational skills, you will be a true team player and have a pragmatic and determined work ethic.
