You’ll partner with the business to deliver HR solutions that support commercial HR decisions and enable the attraction, retention and development of high performing talent within the business. Work with the Head of HR to deliver projects that support business growth and achievement of the HR strategy.

You’ll be a success if you:

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Provide expert advice and coach managers to resolve employee relations issues.
  • Partner with managers to support their people needs.
  • Build positive working relationships with department heads and line managers to understand their business and challenges.
  • Advise on and lead ER cases in line with Company policy advising on risk and continually expanding knowledge on legal developments to share with the agency.
  • Provide advice to employees where appropriate and be available to support and coach employees.
  • Develop, review and revise Company policies, procedures and launch appropriately.
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and ensure company-wide compliance with legislation with regard to HR policies, equal pay, equal opportunities, age regulations, data protection, etc.
  • Work closely with Finance on SRS and budget costs to ensure that the organisational structure is fit for purpose and in line with revenue needs.
  • Manage the HR Administrator
  • Work with Managers to identify short, medium and long-term resource needs in line with business KPIs.

Talent Management / Development

  • Work with L+D CoE to Roll out global learning and development systems and deliver training on Performance Coaching tools to deliver meaningful feedback and development plans.
  • Design and deliver workshops alongside the Learning & Development team based on the agency’s needs.
  • Develop and continuously improve the processes and procedures to add value to the agency and efficiency within the team.
  • Support with the delivery of Talent Mapping / Succession Planning to understand the potential within the agency and spot flight risks.

Recognising Our People

  • Lead the key annual processes within the business such as promotion and pay review process, Performance review ensuring it’s managed fairly and consistently and communicated effectively, with the appropriate approval processes.

Culture & Engagement

  • Design and deliver key culture projects that build engagement, loyalty and retention
  • Lead the Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce to deliver D&I initiatives ensuring the conscious inclusion is at the heart of the business
  • Run regular engagement surveys, analyse data and create action plans for improvement.
  • Analyse cultural trends and morale within departments, suggesting appropriate interventions.
  • Carry out exit interviews and produce exit interview reports for the leadership team with recommendations for improvement and changes.
  • Demonstrate through attitude and every day actions a support for a culture of diversity and inclusion; respect for others, collaboration, responsibility and accountability.
  • Contribute to a culture of personal growth and high performance through strong collaboration, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
  • Work with our social committee (HATCH) to ensure that engagement is high

What you’ll bring:

  • 5 years previous experience in an HR advisory role, currently sitting as HRBP for a marketing, communications, creative, health tech, or commercial business with ability to work independently
  • Have a healthy mix of strong commercial understanding and HR knowledge and strong understanding of employment law and how to apply it
  • Problem solver with a data driven approach to support talent initiatives
  • Experience taking ownership and leading on HR projects
  • Strong communicator with ability to interact at all levels of the business with confidence
  • Ability to influence and advise at all levels of the business
  • High degree of organisational skills with ability to own and run key strategic people initiatives/projects
  • Able to be agile responding to changing demands
