Job Description

A Leading European Fintech business currently have a new exciting HRBP role available on a 12 month basis.

Reporting to the Head of People, this HRBP role will be responsible for shaping and implementing HR initiatives, managing the HR advisory team, identifying areas of improvement, providing expert advice and delivering a great service throughout the employee life cycle.

You will have experience as a forward thinking HR generalist and have a clear understanding of all aspects of HR including performance management, employee relations, employee engagement and learning.

Working hand in hand with the UK HR team and the global HRBPs, this Business Partner role will ensure global alignment of the people strategy, recommending local practices and approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the core HR team (2 x HR Advisors)
  • Escalation point for all contract, performance, absence, discipline, grievance and termination issues
  • Advice to people managers and senior management in relation to all team
  • Identify areas of learning and development for people managers and the business
  • Drive HR strategic initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Provide data reporting and analysis to understand trends and support decision making
  • Support on change management, acquisition and integration projects
  • Work closely with other HR Leads e.g the Head of Talent and Head of Reward

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience within a fintech/technology company desirable
  • Strong experience in HR related roles where you’ve taken the lead on key initiatives
  • Experience of managing and mentoring a team
  • Ability to build trusted and credible relationships with leadership
  • Deep knowledge of local employment law. European law knowledge an advantage.
  • Experience in data analysis, data management and decision making based on data.

Details:

  • 3 days per week – hybrid – city based
  • Potential for 4 days per week
  • November/December start date
  • Maternity cover contract
