Job Description

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading B Corp certified Food business that has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to provide guidance on people practices to stakeholders and ensure that all functions have a great team of people with high levels of engagement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Bring people expertise and develop solutions to support managers to create and implement people plans that will develop the long-term skills and capability required within their team in line with organisational needs.
  • Provide confidential support and advice to managers on all people related matters including team development, performance management and absence management.
  • Provide regular reporting, trend analysis and insight on people KPI's to managers.
  • Implement company policies to support the health and wellbeing of our people.
  • Manage the employee life cycle from offer through onboarding and succession, issuing all supporting correspondence (contracts of employment, end of probation period letters, confirmation of resignations).

Candidate requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent coupled with at least 3 to 5 years HR management experience within a FMCG manufacturing business.
  • CIPD certification will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to ensure adherence to people policies through coaching, delivery of training and other methods as appropriate.
  • Experience in processing changes to hourly paid and salary payroll including running payroll reports each month and liaising with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Salary will be circa £50 000 to £60 000 + Bonus.

The role will be based onsite in the London area.
