Job Summary
The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing HR advice and support toagreed divisions of the London office. The HRBP will partner, coach and providegeneralist HR expertise and support to key Managers, Heads of Department andTalent/Recruitment team members for their business area.The role will work closely with the HRBP for the other London divisions to provideconsistent advice and help implement HR projects across the London office. Therole will provide cover for the other HRBP in their absence.The HRBP works closely with the Head of Human Resources, UK to plan andimplement the delivery of HR initiatives in the UK and align with the global HR plan.As a small HR team the role requires a hands on approach including helping outother HR team members, responding to day to day questions that come into theteam and having a flexible approach.



KeyResponsibilities

HR General:

• Maintain an understanding of how the organisation operates includingbusiness requirements and commercial objectives.
• Take a lead role in ensuring that company policies and procedures are up todate and in line with current employment legislation.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers in their business area on companypolicies.
• Support the Head of HR and work with other members of the HR team onwider company initiatives and projects.
• Produce Exit interview, starter and leaver quarterly report in collaborationwith Global Team and present data to relevant management
• Review and suggest improvements to HR operations ways of working as andwhen required.
• Provide advice and guidance to the HR team, supporting and mentoring themore junior members as and when required.

Employee Relations:

• Act as primary point of contact for managers and the crewing team, providingadvice on all people related issues delegating to junior team members asappropriate.
• Partnership with own client groups to understand their core employee issuesand provide effective solutions.
• Management of grievance, disciplinary and redundancy investigations ormeetings as and when required in partnership with management.
• Escalate any complex ER issues to Head of HR for support as required.
• Advising on all areas of absence including Maternity/adoption/paternity,Sickness, Holiday/TOIL.
• Take overall responsibility of absence monitoring, generating reports andliaising with the managers as and when needed to ensure that any issues aredealt with in a timely manner.
• Tracking of ER cases and producing reports on ER as required by HR team orwider business

Learning and Development:

• In conjunction with the Head of HR analyse training needs of the business.
• Deliver management training workshops in the business area.
• Design and deliver new training modules for managers, leads and Heads ofDepartment, as and when required.
• Ongoing training of the wider HR team so as to increase team knowledge ofHR processes.
• Deliver the new starter induction presentation as part of the HR team rota.Work with the HR team to update and improve the new starter inductionpresentation as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Undertake salary benchmarking/surveys and analysis, as required by HRteam or wider business
• Maintain junior talent salaries in line with London Living Wage or NationalLiving Wage as appropriate and advising managers as required.
• Providing costings and analysis as required for redundancyprocedures/key business decisions etc. to HR team or wider businessHRSystems
• Assist with ongoing configuration and enhancement of the HR Self-Servicesystem.
• Run ad hoc reports from the HR database to support management decisions.
• Support with HR administration tasks as needed especially during busyperiods or periods of team holiday absence.
• Undertake other HR related tasks, activities and projects as requested by Head ofHR and/or as business needs dictate.

Knowledge &Experience

Essential:

• Experience in a Generalist HR role, fromwithin a creative or technical business.

Desirable:

•Degree and/or CIPD qualified, orequivalent.

Previous experience within visualeffects sector.

•Knowledge and previous experienceof immigration regulations andprocesses.
