The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join this high energy, results driven and commercially focused HRBP team who also like to have fun. You will:

  • partner with fast-growing, fee-earning employee client groups in London and throughout our European offices
  • contribute and co-lead EMEA people projects
  • have regular access to the senior leadership team who are based in London, with occasional travel across Europe.

Key Duties

  • To have an excellent HR generalist skillset, considered a trusted and proactive BP by your internal clients

  • To establish credible working relationships within your client group(s) across the range of key stakeholders (e.g. leadership, partners and wider employee group)

  • To think commercially and creatively in order to identify ways in which People initiatives and projects can add value to the business.

  • To deliver local client group solutions and large-scale people projects across Europe

  • To continuously develop an understanding of the business, its needs, objectives, commercial pressures, challenges, and creating bespoke solutions.

  • To possess a sound understanding of risk management (noting internal precedents; good practice; legislation etc.)

  • To work closely with the broader People team to drive a holistic people service offering

  • To act as an advocate and champion for our core values

  • To be comfortable handling complex Employee Relations cases

  • To provide key employee metrics and analysis to senior leadership

  • To develop People expertise across our European jurisdictions

Essential Experience

  • Previous HRBP experience

  • Proactive, solutions focused mindset

  • Build senior stakeholder relationships and rapport, influence and ‘hold your own’

  • Confidence producing and analysing statistical management information

  • Excellent employment law and ER knowledge (UK- essential, EU – desirable) with ability to translate this into practical commercial and risk management advice

  • Organised and able to operate within a busy, fast paced, deadline driven professional services environment

  • Flexible and resilient with keen problem solving abilities

  • Working with your client groups to shape and deliver an outstanding employee experience

  • Committed, enthusiastic and innovative

  • Ability to deliver presentations

  • Comfortable with agile working practices

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in a professional services firm

  • Experience working across European jurisdictions
