Hr Consultant Job In Kettering

HR Consultant - Remote
Northamptonshire based
Hours – 22.5 hrs pw – 3 days – flexible
Salary - £30k

ACS Staffing Solutions are recruiting an HR Consultant on a permanent basis to join our locally based client in supporting SME clients, typically between 20 to 100 employees.

This is a reasonably senior role, so you will need to be well versed in all things HR, with the ability to think on your feet.

Key expertise, skills, and attributes required are:

• 10 years’ experience in HR with up to date working knowledge of employment legislation and case law
• Worked in SME’s, responsible for all aspects of HR
• Used to dealing with people management challenges
• ER Casework, Investigations, Disciplinary, Dispute Resolution, Absence management
• Managed complex disciplinary, and grievance cases
• Not risk averse, with the ability to advise leadership on best course of action
• Tribunal Case Management / Hearings – an advantage but not essential
• Commercial approach with knowledge of how business operates
• Line Manager Capability Development – to help our clients develop their HR skills
• HR Policy Development, Implementation & Compliance.
• An open and inquisitive mind
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Agility to manage multiple clients and stakeholders
• Resilient and resourceful
• Most important, sense of humour!

The job will entail working 3 days a week - predominantly working remotely with flexibility to work around current commitments, although you will need to be willing to adapt and flex to suit client needs if required. Client visits will be a key part of this role, so you will need access to your own vehicle.

On offer is a competitive salary of £50k pro-rata’d, 25 days annual leave – again pro-rata’d plus bank holidays.
