Description

The key responsibilities of the HR Coordinator will be to:

  • Work closely with the HR Operations Manager ensuring alignment between People Strategy, operational delivery and service expectations are met.
  • Take the lead on delivering excellent customer service through effective and efficient management of key HR processes and activities on a day-to-day basis.
  • You will manage conflicting priorities and resolve issues as they arise, keeping all parties updated, whilst conducting a highly professional and confidential service, with customer service at the heart of everything you do.
  • To be flexible and able to respond and adapt to the requirements of working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Verify, send, and chase references via post, email, and phone where required.
  • Regular verbal and email updates to operational Managers re referencing progress
  • Maintain accurate records of all your client and candidate dealings
  • Provide Tracking Sheets with completed packs explaining how each reference was obtained
  • Quality check is completed on reference packs
  • Deal with any client or applicant inquiries in a satisfactory and professional manner.

Profile

The successful HR Coordinator will have:

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent HR service in a complex organisation
  • Experience of building strong relationships at all levels across an organisation and to build credibility
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting demands based on sound judgement
  • Experience of remaining calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Sound understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Strong IT skills and experience using HR systems
