Description
The key responsibilities of the HR Coordinator will be to:
- Work closely with the HR Operations Manager ensuring alignment between People Strategy, operational delivery and service expectations are met.
- Take the lead on delivering excellent customer service through effective and efficient management of key HR processes and activities on a day-to-day basis.
- You will manage conflicting priorities and resolve issues as they arise, keeping all parties updated, whilst conducting a highly professional and confidential service, with customer service at the heart of everything you do.
- To be flexible and able to respond and adapt to the requirements of working in a high-pressure environment.
- Verify, send, and chase references via post, email, and phone where required.
- Regular verbal and email updates to operational Managers re referencing progress
- Maintain accurate records of all your client and candidate dealings
- Provide Tracking Sheets with completed packs explaining how each reference was obtained
- Quality check is completed on reference packs
- Deal with any client or applicant inquiries in a satisfactory and professional manner.
Profile
The successful HR Coordinator will have:
- Proven track record of delivering excellent HR service in a complex organisation
- Experience of building strong relationships at all levels across an organisation and to build credibility
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting demands based on sound judgement
- Experience of remaining calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Sound understanding of UK employment legislation
- Strong IT skills and experience using HR systems
