SThree is delighted to announce that we are currently accepting applications for a HR Operations Team Leader on a fixed term contract. This position presents an excellent opportunity to join our team in a senior capacity, working with a global audience of stakeholders. Additionally, it offers the potential for growth within an international company.

You’ll be required to apply your processing and systems knowledge to a range of situations, problems and issues and provide first line advice and guidance to the HR Co-ordinators, wider HR colleagues & customers. You’re responsible for setting a culture of continuous improvement (CI) within the team and for ensuring all processes are clearly documented and kept up-to-date in line with any CI changes. This is a line management role and therefore you’ll take ownership of all aspects of performance management, including setting SMART objectives, coaching, performance reviews, measuring and monitoring SLAs and KPIs.

What are the day-to-day tasks?

  • Support the development, review and implementation of HR processes in line with business, legislative and policy updates
  • Ensure confidentiality and governance to GDPR
  • Regular quality audits of team output and data integrity in line with the agreed reporting and events calendar
  • Report concerns with process non adherence, GDPR and risk to the Global HR Operations Manager
  • Regular update of the teams’ skill level in this critical area
  • Ensure appropriate Information and customer feedback is used to evaluate the effectiveness of processes to improve the experience for our people
  • Work in partnership with HR Ops peer group to ensure global alignment and sharing of best practice
  • Collaborate and partner with Team Leaders in HRIS, HR, Reward, TA, Payroll and SAP IT to ensure all processes are fit for purpose and deliver the best outcome for our people
  • Actively participate in monthly stakeholder meetings
  • Setting of SMART objectives for all team members as agreed with the Global HR Operations Manager
  • Ongoing performance management of the team in line with the PMP process
  • Monitor and leverage metrics and trends to determine process improvement options
  • Supporting the Global HR Operations Manager with specific project related activity

What skills and knowledge are we looking for?

  • Proven experience of HR Operations in a similar fast-paced environment
  • Track record of process documentation and process improvement
  • Previous Line management experience
  • European language skills desired but not essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
