Job Description

Thomson Snell & Passmore are looking for an HR Team Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within a busy HR team. You will assist with a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and a variety of general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
  • Onboarding: Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, undertaking pre-employment checks and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Help manage employee queries, assist in the preparation of HR documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • HR Projects: Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, including intranet updates, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the HR database and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and support compliance requirements.

Experience:

At least 2 years previous experience in an administrative role is required, preferably gained within a professional services environment.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
