Job Description

The Health, Safety and Environment Training Content Lead is responsible for enhancing CBRE's safety, environmental and sustainable performance by ensuring the highest level of training content is available for a global business. This role works alongside the Global Training Director and supports the creation and delivery of our HSE Training strategy ensuring that content not only meets regulatory requirements but also that it is engaging, innovative and tailored for each role. Develops consistent content that eliminates duplicate effort and redundancy and promotes sharing of developed training across GWS- Enterprise Accounts.The position is remote and can be based anywhere globally. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRevise all HSE content to ensure that it is up to date and relevant.Perform an analysis of HSE training to develop a current state and future state for training content.Develop bespoke in-house eLearning'sReview customer specific training to minimise duplicationStreamline and combine content to reduce the huge amount of content on the Learning Management SystemEnsure all content meets CBRE branding and quality requirementsBuild course outcomes to standardise all trainingsEnsure appropriate translated material is available for each countryLeverage and work with subject matter experts to vet all courses for technical content.Reduce reliance on expensive 3rd party training providers where possible or tailor existing 3rd party materialsEstablish an effective induction program globally and identify opportunities to deliver effective classroom based or eLearning training.Own all GWS-EA related training material contentWork in collaboration with other LOB's within GWS to build aligned training materials.Determine training objectives and needs through needs assessment (compliance, company requirements and industry standards) and in close coordination and consultation with operations management, QHSE leaders, and senior managementDevelop a professional development material for QHSE professionalsEnsure that trainings are formatted in a manner that considers global application including translations.Collaborate with Learning and Development and LOBs on optimal delivery methods (e-learn, in-person, hybrid etc.), scheduling etc.Seek opportunities to generate internal education and evaluate potential cost savingsOwn relationship with 3rd party training providers.Facilitate the creation of high-risk training programs such as LOTOWork with Business subject matter experts to ensure that training is fit for purpose.Work with Training Director to Investigate / pilot innovative technology based training solutions, including augmented and virtual reality, wearable technology etc.Work with Training Director to maintain training section on intranet and establish appropriate coms materials.Clean up and remove old or defunct training from the systemReview employee satisfaction surveys yearly ensuring that content is addressing concernsUse Data to drive training content and messagingOversees competence verification question sets and training content EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceComputer proficiencies: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe AcrobatExperience with adult training, learning or similar environmentExperienced with adult education, adult learning theories, and related training methodsStrong organizational, planning, presentation, facilitation, analytical skills and be detailed oriented.Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects while prioritizing deadlines with minimal supervisionContribute to a positive team dynamic by working well with othersExceptional communication skills with ability to present clearly to any level of organizationTechnical proficiency and understanding of various industries, general HSE concepts, and regulationsExperience in developing training content or materialsDemonstrated ability to deal with conflict, able to effectively communicate ideas and be an active listener.Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize and deliver creative solutions.
