We are currently looking for a HR Assistant to join our team!

Reporting to: Head of Customer and Employee Relations


Position: Open to both full or part time applicants


Role Overview

As the HR Executive you will be responsible for providing support to the business in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, administration, training, and performance management. You will assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure smooth and effective people operations.


Key Responsibilities


Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including induction and training.


Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing support and addressing HR-related inquiries.
  • Assist managers in resolving employee support requests in a professional and timely manner.


HR Administration

  • Working with the Administration Assistant Manager you will update employee records and files, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
  • Support with audit compliance


Performance Management

  • Support the performance appraisal process, including scheduling reviews and providing guidance to managers and employees
  • Policy Implementation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.


Analysis

  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Maintain HR databases and provide regular reports.


Requirements

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment


Location: Primary – Manchester, will need to be able to travel to Birchwood, Warrington.
