Position Overview: As the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture and driving organisational success. You will lead the HR function, implementing strategic initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on all HR-related matters.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent in genetics, biotechnology, and related fields. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build a diverse and high-performing team.
  • Employee Engagement: Champion a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development plans. Provide coaching and support to managers to drive employee performance and development.
  • Learning and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Identify learning opportunities and career paths to support employee growth and development.
  • HR Operations: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues. Resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation. Effectively communicate changes and ensure employee understanding and buy-in.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the UK.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
