With around 300 talented individuals across our teams in Rainham and Canary Wharf, we need a People Director who can:


  • Embed a culture of high performance.
  • Implement OKRs.
  • Develop career frameworks.
  • Drive workforce planning and all other aspects of People Leadership.


Our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) is already surpassing £40m this year, and we’re projected to reach over £100m next year. We currently produce around 120,000 meals per week and plan to move into a new factory next year, enabling us in the future to surpass £1bn in revenue.


What You’ll Do:


  • Lead and Inspire: Guide our People team (including Head of People & Talent, People & Culture Manager, HR & Payroll Manager, and Talent Partner) to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Design Impactful Programs: Create and deliver learning and development initiatives that make a difference.
  • Define Our People Strategy: Partner with our SLT/ELT and Founder to shape our growth journey.
  • Collaborate: Work in a supportive, innovative, and people-first environment.


About You:

  • Experienced HR Leader: Proven experience in a fast-paced scale-up.
  • Development Expert: Expertise in learning and development, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong understanding of OKRs, career frameworks, and job architecture.
  • Culture Champion: Passion for creating a positive, high-performing workplace.
  • Egoless and Non-Hierarchical: Purpose and impact-driven, with open communication and alignment to our core values.
  • Team Player: Capable of mentoring the People function and coaching the leadership team.
  • Organised: Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
