FPG has an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join an international technology and telecommunications company. It will be essential for you to have industry experience at a telecom or B2B technology company to be considered. This role will require someone with some experience in recruitment / talent acquisition, talent management and more generic HR duties such as performance management, employee engagement and training development. If you have some but not all of this experience, we would still love to speak with you because we are expecting a demand in HR Manager roles this year from our portfolio of clients.

Our client would prefer someone that can attend the office a few days per week but they are open to discuss the remote/hybrid working policy if you have the right experience.

Sponsorship can be considered for the right candidate, but the candidate must already be based and live in the UK.

The role:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. This role involves partnering with the organization to implement HR strategies that enhance the overall business operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Plan and execute effective recruitment campaigns.
  • Successfully onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Conduct performance management and provide regular feedback.

HR Operations and Strategy:

  • Manage the full scope of HR duties, including talent management, organizational design, succession planning, performance management, compensation management, employee engagement, and training development.
  • Collaborate with HQ HR to align and drive HR initiatives for the European business unit.

HR Administration:

  • Handle HR administrative tasks such as payroll processing, employment agreements, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and write HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Stay updated on local labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Employee Relations and Development:

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs and training development initiatives.

Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • UK experience as a minimum and strong knowledge of European labor laws and regulations would be a massive bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage both strategic initiatives and everyday HR tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous line management experience is desirable.
  • People-focused with a positive, can-do mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment and plan accordingly.
