Job Description

As part of the Human Rights team at ASOS, you will work collaboratively with the GLH and regional third-party audit team to ensure delivery of key strategic priorities against ASOS's Fashion with Integrity (FWI) strategy, focusing on reporting of practice throughout the relevant regions supply chain. This is a Fixed Term role.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting

  • Identify, monitor, and address emerging issues in ethical trade and human rights.
  • Provide robust insight and data to inform ethical trade and human rights reporting
  • Develop reporting methodology on emerging issues along with the Senior Partner and the Head of Human Rights
  • Managing the preparation and delivery of ongoing internal department reporting, including purchasing practices
  • Supporting the delivery of external reporting relevant to areas of strategic focus, including Fashion with Integrity (FWI)
  • Provide robust insight and data, including evidence collection, for ethical trade and human rights reporting, for example, the Modern Slavery Statement and any other upcoming legislation
Supply chain management

  • To lead, manage and improve the compliance of the relevant regions' supply chain in line with the ASOS Supplier Ethical Code
  • Set clear expectations for suppliers, factories, and third-party auditors per the company's strategy, objectives, and policies.
  • Working closely and effectively with third-party auditors to ensure a robust auditing programme, reviewing the audit reports and corrective action plans
  • Managing the remediation and corrective action plans against time-bound deadlines
  • Develops short-term & long-term dept. objectives for the key sourcing regions to train suppliers and factories- building their capacity
  • Managing child labour remediation where there is no local team
  • Key point of contact on the ground for the suppliers, factories, and industry peers
  • Supply chain mapping beyond Tier 1 & 2
Stakeholder Management

  • Developing trainings/ workshops
  • Develop relevant stakeholders' network (internal and external) to support ASOS strategy e.g. sourcing/ sustainability/ buyers/ suppliers/ factories/ NGOs / Trade Unions locally
  • Representing the business in external forums and working groups
