Immediate Start Head of Operations FTC| Fast-Growth Tech | Remote Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast growth Tech business in the Ed-Tech (education technology) space who are looking for a Head of Operations to join the business on a 6 month FTC basis (may be extended to 9 months).The role will report into a CEO and will be based remotely in the UK. The contract is to oversee a maternity cover and offer the successful incumbent the chance to work for a global tech company who are growing rapidly so fantastic exposure for anyone looking to move into the Tech space.The position will oversee supply chain, owning the budgets for operations/supply chain as well as provide strategic input. The culture of the business is collaborative and inclusive and even though the majority of the business work remotely there is great comradery and communications across the business.The role: Reporting into the CEO this role will oversee:• Overall autonomy over the operations team which is made up of 6 employees who work remotely between the UK and US. This will cover working with supply chain collogues, collogues in the manufacturing space as well as sales for Europe and APAC regions. •Ensuring the operations are fit for purpose and comply with national and international laws • Oversee best practice if there are any tech implementations or systems upgrades during the contract •Review contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders•Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits• Owning recruiting should there be any new roles to be brought onboard or changes in the team•Review financial reports prepared for board meetings •Analyze and report, on a weekly basis, sales, customer success and demand generation•Working closely with with part-time Finance Director and heads of other departments to prepare accurate monthly projections for company financial re-forecasts• Implement company-wide metrics and goals Things our client would like to see: • Experience with international supply chain / logistics• Experience in managing a team as well as end to end operations for a global business• Great written communication skills• Advanced Excel skills• Experience with analysis metrics and providing insightful commentary • Experience working with Netsuite systemWhat we would like to see: • Experience working in a start-up / Ed-Tech • Experience working with Hubspot CRM system / Zapier / HubSpot / Leapsome would be beneficial • Experience working with the Shopify commerce system• Experience with handling and shipping dangerous goods (our product contains lithium battery)Salary: £55,000k - £70,000 Pro Rata / 6 Month FTCWorking arrangement: Remote work / 9 am to 6 pmAvailability: Candidate must be available for immediate startPlease get in touch with Dan on dan@harmonicfinance.com for more information.Please feel free to circulate with any friends or contacts that may be interested.Follow us on twitter: @HarmonicGroupHQ
